Transfer should be net and exclusive of any bank charges to the Symposium.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENTS WITHOUT HAVING ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THE SYMPOSIUM.

FOR EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION RECEIPT OF PAYMENT IS DUE BY MARCH 20, 2015.

INVITATION LETTERS

Foreigners needing a special invitation letter in order to obtain visas may request it from the Symposium Secretariat at least three months prior to the Symposium.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

You will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Symposium Secretariat within a reasonable time, please send an e-mail to:

CHANGE OF DELEGATE

Substitutions of attendees can be made for a cost of € 30 VAT included.
Please inform the Symposium Secretariat in writing, giving the name of the substitute by May 15, 2015.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations can be made in writing to the Symposium Secretariat by e-mail or fax.

REFUNDS

before May 15, 2015: 50% (after bank expenses deduction)
after May 15, 2015: no refund

Refunds will be made after the Symposium. If for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee the Symposium is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

LIABILITY

The contributors will be carefully selected and the Symposium will be carefully prepared. KBS 2015 organisers cannot accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness with respect to conference documentation and content, unless the damage is the direct consequence of an intentional act or gross negligence. Neither the KBS 2015 organizers will assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Symposium.

DISPUTES

All agreements between KBS 2015 organisers and the Other Party and all disputes which may arise between the Parties shall be exclusively subject to German Law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

PRIVACY POLICY

All personal data passed on to KBS 2015 organisers for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the Symposium. KBS 2015 organisers will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose(s) identified above. Full papers and abstracts will be made available on this website to registered Symposium participants and authors.
